Haven’t updated in a while but there’s a lot of progress made. The wordpress app updates itself automatically and I must say that the recent updates are disappointing. Too many app crashes that really frustrate the hell outta me. Anyways…… On to the good stuff.
Ganesh’s guitar body has been contoured and awaits neck building to proceed to the next stage. I’ve designed cad fretboard and neck templates for his 28.8 in scale neck. The Indian rosewood fretboards came in for this build and the imbuya and they look glorious.
The Imbuya/Korina build is flush routed and rounded. Binding is installed-quite easily I might add- and awaits contouring. Thanks to Aaron Brown of Blackwater Guitars for all the advice and getting me mentally prepared for the binding job. It’s always nice to have someone to look up to. This guitar will receive a fully roasted maple neck.
Roger’s walnut body is halfway hollowed. His build requires many more considerations because of its semi hollow nature along with a contoured bevel.
