The Binding pt. 1

Glad I’m not binding the body. The Macassar ebony binding is fragile.  It’s looking good so far. Will truly know once everythings sanded. This will hide my little mistake. Honestly looking at the neck in the pocket,  youd barely notice the 1mm shift of the fretboard. Still I’d know and I can’t settle for that. 

Imbuya Neck Bound & Fretted

Got some great advice from Aaron Brown over at Blackwater Guitars. He said to radius before I bind. Now looking at it, it seems simple but had I not followed this advice I would have been pulling my hair out trying to find a way to deepen the slots after radiusing to 16in. Thanks Aaron….
